Rescue Story

Una, a one-month old puppy, was found as a stray in a mountain area.  The chances of her surviving on her own was abysmal so our rescuer took her in.  We recommend Una goes to a home without children and cats as she’s too excited around cats and maintains her distance with kids.  She’s very agile and can easily jump onto counters so proper food storage is a must to prevent looting when left alone.  She loves food so will warm up to people quickly if they have goodies for her.  Una is looking for an experienced and patient home that can provide plenty of outdoor activities/exercises, obedience training, and continuous socialization with people.

If you are interested in adopting Una please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Una is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Una, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
