Rescue Story

Travis along with his four siblings were born near an industrial dumpster in Taiwan.  The mother dog tried her best to take care of the litter and a kind woman fed them but was unable to give them a shelter.  The factory workers weren’t friendly towards dogs and purposely put the puppies in harm’s way on busy roads.  Our rescuer heard about the puppies through the woman’s posting online seeking for help.  All the puppies and the mother have been to the vet for a complete check up and are now healthy for adoption.  Travis is good with people but can be a little shy at first.   He has a gentle, quiet, and calm temparement.  He has no separation anxiety and no food / toy / space aggression.  He’s looking for a responsible family who can provide him moderate amount of daily exercise appropriate for his medium energy level as well as further basic obedience training.

If you are interested in adopting Travis please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Travis is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Travis, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
