Rescue Story

Stevie was a puppy mill dog abandoned to a killing pound in Taiwan. After being rescued, the vet determined that his right eye atrophied naturally and may be a cause of infection in the future so the vet removed Stevie’s right eye. His left eye is active and normal functions are not hindered. His peripheral vision is slightly affected so you would have to be careful not to trip over him. His housetraining has improved after learning to go up and down the stairs on his own. He is currently wearing a band indoor. He needs to work on walking on leash and basic obedience. He is nicely crate trained, sleeps in there at night without complaints and takes breaks during the day. Stevie is sweet and lively, prancing around like a deer with his long legs!

If you are interested in adopting Stevie please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Stevie, for your new addition. There is a $300 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
