Rescue Story

Although Sally is skittish with strangers particularly in new places, she remains submissive. As a puppy mill rescue, she’s afraid of loud noises and sudden movement from new people so not suitable for a home with children or a busy home. She has a chewing habit on plastic materials from remote control to calculator to earpiece and frame of glasses so supervision is necessary. She’s still working on her house-training and has shown progress especially given ample potty breaks throughout the day. Sally is looking for a patient home with another well socialized dog who can be a good influence and furry companion.

If you are interested in adopting Sally please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Sally is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Sally, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
