Rescue Story

A taxi driver in Taiwan bought Robin when he was a puppy. He then brought Robin back to the pet shop to get a refund. The driver’s reason was that Robin didn’t get along with another dog of his. The pet shop refused the return. Then the taxi driver told the shop that the dog was having diarrhea. The shop advised him to take Robin to the vet next door. The taxi driver dropped off Robin at the vet using the medical pretence and abandoned the dog there. Robin appeared to be in good health but most likely abused because the dog is terrified when people raise their hands at him. Robins needs to learn his manners in the house since he received no training from his previous owner. He likes to mark territory in a new environment and housetraining still needs work. He also likes to chew so plenty of chew toys/bones are a must. Robin has never been by himself always with people or other dogs so he’s is looking for a home where someone is around often in a house (in case of barking issues), has another dog and can provide exercises appropriate to his energy level.

If you are interested in adopting Robin please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Robin, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
