Rescue Story

Polly was rescued from a killing pound in Taiwan.  She is a sweet middle-of-the-road dog with a blank slate as far as training goes.  Polly has a nice amount of energy to enjoy outdoor activities, and could go for a long hike but with an hour of exercise a day she is happy to lie by your feet or snuggle you on the couch.  She hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, and although she'll whine for a minute or two, actually likes her crate (she volunteers herself to go to bed).  Polly has an interest in the water, but so far hasn't shown interest in toys. It's possible she's never really had toys in her life before being rescued.  How sad!  This sweet lady is looking for her family to call home the rest of her days, and put her bad past behind her.  She promises to be the best friend you could ask for.

If you are interested in adopting Polly please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Polly, for your new addition. There is a $500 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
