Rescue Story

When Oshie was a two month old stray she was found hiding underneath our rescuer’s parked car.  Luckily she was alive and unscathed.  She kept wagging her tail and licking our rescuer.  Our rescuer couldn’t bear to see her fending for herself so she decided to foster Oshie.  Oshie loves being with people, even strangers, very well socialized.  Because she’s still a puppy, she would gnaw on people’s fingers when she gets too excited.  She doesn’t like when one pulls her legs and would struggle to get away.  She’s not protective of food/toys and loves to have another canine companion.  Oshie is easy-going and submissive.  She’s looking for a moderately active home with another dog that can provide her further training.

If you are interested in adopting Oshie please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Oshie is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Oshie, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
