Rescue Story

Milo was found wandering on the roof of a pet accessory shop: https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/photo.php?fbid=580976725256419&set=pb.100000322917279.-2207520000.1371369234.&type=3&theater.  No one came forward to claim him and no one reported their pet missing.  Our rescuer took Milo in or he would of been sent to the high kill shelter right away.  Milo can be a bit bossy around other dogs but he listens well to commands.  He needs basic obedience training and would benefit from a structured home.

Milo is neutered, up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and tested negative for heartworm.

 

Milo has been diagnosed with mitral insufficiency (heart murmur).  Ultrasound taken on June-13-2013 concluded to be mild murmur, not affecting normal functions and not a cause for immediate health concern.

If you are interested in adopting Milo please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Milo, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
