Rescue Story

Milky is a typical puppy – still needs to work on his housetraining and to address his chewing habit with lots of chew toys and daily exercise. He would benefit from basic obedience training: walking on leash and crate training. He loves playing with other dogs but sometimes doesn't get the message to back off. He is very sweet and good with all people, hard to imagine that he has been abandoned twice already. A local university student bought him from the breeder and realized that having a dog is a long-term responsibility and a lot of work so the student just gave up Milky to another family. After the novelty of having a puppy around wore off the second family transferred Milky to another family again. Milky is looking for a stable, patient, and committed family where someone is home throughout the day and has an enclosed yard for him to free run in.

If you are interested in adopting Milky please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Milky, for your new addition. There is a $500 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
