Rescue Story

JoJo was discarded by a puppy mill.  Because she’s been in the puppy mill all her life she needs further socialization with people and dogs.  When she first arrived at her current rescue shelter she was cautious at first and bared her teeth during feeding with other dogs but not afterwards.  She’s not protective of food towards people and is quite gentle towards children.  JoJo can stay home alone.  She would just sit in a corner quietly by herself.  She can be playful with other dogs once familiar with them.  She loves to play with water and jump, suitable for a breed experienced family who would like to take the dog to agility.

If you are interested in adopting JoJo please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note JoJo is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider JoJo, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
