Rescue Story

Our rescuer saw Hello sprinting through the busy traffic on the streets in Taiwan while she was walking five other dogs.  Hello looked very lost.  As soon as our rescuer crouched down and called out to him, he jumped into our rescuer’s arms without any hesitancy.  He was just so happy to see a friendly kind face.  The rescuer walked around the neighbourhood asking if anyone had seen this dog before but no one claimed him.  Hello prefers to be in the company of people than dogs.  He gets along with dogs but doesn’t really play with them.  Once he has settled in a new environment, he is quiet and doesn’t have separation anxiety.  Because he likes to follow people around, one should be cautious when opening and closing doors to prevent him from tagging along.  When he gets excited he would gnaw people's hands.  This behaviour is correctable with basic obedience training but we do not recommend him to go to a home with children.   Hello would benefit from daily exercise to keep him calm and well behaved.

If you are interested in adopting Hello please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Hello, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
