Rescue Story

Croissant was dumped outside of a private shelter in Taiwan.  When the rescuer found him, he had wounds that looked like dog bites.  Croissant was then sent straight to the vet for treatment.  Fortunately after two weeks of rest this brave boy recovered quickly.

 

Croissant has an easy-going temperament with medium energy level, quite calm for a puppy.  He loves to eat vegetables and fruits and enjoys going on scooter rides with his foster mom.  We are unsure of his breed(s) as a stray.  He’s estimated to weigh around 45lbs-55llbs when full grown.  If size is of considerable importance in your dog search, please do not apply.

Croissant has up to date vaccination including Rabies shot, de-wormed, micro-chipped, neutered, tested negative for heartworm, screwworm and multiple tick born pathogens.  Croissant has also passed Idexx 4-in-1 Kit Plus Test.

If you are interested in adopting Croissant please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Croissant is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Croissant, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
