Rescue Story

Chum, a 3-month old stray puppy around a countryside temple in Taiwan, was digging through the garbage foraging for food when our rescuer first saw her. Our rescuer asked people around the neighbourhood and they told her not to feed Chum because the dog may be inclined to stay.  Our rescuer decided to take the puppy home to foster with her own many dogs until Chum finds a forever loving home.  Chum is wary with strangers especially with men.  She bonds faster with people when they feed her or give her treats.  She loves playing with other dogs and would adapt in a new environment faster if there is another furry member in the household.  She loves to go on scooter/bike rides and swim in the pool suitable for a family with active lifestyle.

Chum is spayed (July-24-2013), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed (10th of every month), and tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting Chum please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Chum is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Chum, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
