Rescue Story

Bear along with her sister and two brothers were rescued from a cruel and abusive environment. This university student locked the four puppies in a tiny box and starved them to death. Luckily a kind hearted student heard the puppies crying and suggested to the abuser to take the puppies off of his hands. Unfortunately the puppies' mother is still with that student. He wouldn't release her to our good Samaritan and there is no strict animal protection law in Taiwan to stop harm being done to these helpless dogs.

The four puppies are now ready for adoption. Bear is shy around strangers, especially wary of men. But once she is familiar with you she loves to snuggle like a teddy bear.

Bear is up to date with vaccinations including rabies shot, de-wormed, micro-chipped, spayed, tested negative for heartworm disease, screw worm and tick borne pathogens. Please refer to Bear’s PCR test report.

If you are interested in adopting Bear please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Bear, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
