Personality:

Pine is friendly, energetic, and independent. He focuses very well, susceptible to training. You can give him chew toys and exercises to wear out some of his energy.

Rescue Story

Pine, Cherry, Lily, and Rera are four puppies from the same litter. Along with their mom Fanny, they were strays on a beach in Taiwan. Fanny tried her best to take care of her babies but the temperature at the beach is cold with lack of food source. The traffic on the road by the beach is quite busy as well dangerous for the strays. Our rescuers decided to take in these dogs and give them a chance at finding their own forever loving home.

These four puppies are intelligent and well socialized with dogs and people. They are friendly to strangers and they know how to sit for treats. Like most puppies, they still need to work on housetraining. They currently go potty on puppy pads. They are not crate trained yet because they would whine for attention. Doggy pens are a better option to help training them. They haven’t been tested with cats yet - most likely they just want to play.

Pine is the big brother and can be a bit bossy. Sometimes he bosses his younger sister Cherry around, but will roll over and show his belly when coming across a bigger dog. He is active, outgoing, and a quick learner.

Each puppy is looking for a patient and loving family who can provide him/her plenty of exercise and discipline - not easily won over by the puppies’ adorable appearance. Please consider their adoption seriously as it is a lifetime commitment.

Pine is neutered, has up to date vaccinations including rabies shot, micro-chipped, de-wormed, tested negative for heartworm, multiple tick born pathogens. Pine has also passed Idexx 4-in-1 kit Test.

If you are interested in adopting Pine please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Pine is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand. Please consider Pine, for your new addition. There is a $500 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
