Rescue Story

Bruno and his 3 brothers and 1 sister are very lucky to be alive. Our rescuer was driving through a narrow mountain road one evening. She saw these 5 little heads bobbing around the bushes and looking at her car. She got out the car and saw 3 dead puppies lying on the road ran over by cars. Our rescuer guessed all the puppies must be from the same litter. She took the pups to the vet for a health check up and arranged a foster home for them to stay in until they are old enough to be neutered and spayed. Bruno’s chance of being adopted in Taiwan ends most likely as an outdoor guard dog with no proper shelter. They will be released back to the streets in a month because there are no more fostering placements. The five siblings are urgently looking for their own forever loving home.

Bruno has very short hair; you can even see wrinkles on his forehead. Bruno has less hair in the interior of his 4 legs and also chest. Foster mom has started to give him medicated shampoo every few days. Like Derry, Bruno eats very fast and would go up to finish other’s food. Bruno is neutered, has up to date vaccinations including rabies shot, micro-chipped, de-wormed, tested negative for heartworm, multiple tick borne pathogens.

Bruno has also passed Idexx 4-in-1 kit Test.

If you are interested in adopting Bruno please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Bruno is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand. Please consider Bruno, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
