Rescue Story

Aisya was one of nine stray puppies rescued off of the streets in suburban central Taiwan. The rescuer walked by and knew if he left the dogs including the mother who just gave birth they would probably all die. So the rescuer took them to the vet and tried to find a home for them. As a puppy, Aisya was adopted to Vancouver BC. Aisya is now 3 years old. Her family can no longer care for her so she is up for adoption again.

At her current foster family’s place, she does steal the other dog’s bone sometimes and keep it for herself. She has some resource guarding issues, so an experienced home or a home without other dogs is preferred. She does love playing with other dogs at the dog park and is active.

Aisya is VERY high energy and would do best in a home that would provide her with a lot of exercise. She loves to run with a bike or a quad. She's FAST! If she doesn't get enough exercise or attention she tends to chew on things like plastic items or grab food that are within her reach but overall she's a well-behaved dog. She listens to commands well with an excellent recall.

She warms up to people quickly if they leave her alone and let her adjust to them on her own. She is a shy girl and needs time to warm up to you.

Aisya is currently being fostered in Armstrong, BC however her foster mom comes to visit Vancouver fairly often. If you are interested in Aisya, please contact us for details.

Please consider Aisya, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
