Rescue Story

A-May and A-Min were abandoned together on the streets in Taiwan and captured by the government animal control to a killing pound. Base on their age and looks, they may be siblings. They are close to each other but they also play with other dogs. A-May and A-Min are fostered separately and they are always excited to see each other as if they missed each other.

A-May in particular loves meeting other dogs and inviting them to play with her cheerful wiggly dance. She's great with all people including kids always so excited to see everyone so she would love to be a part of a big family. Her forever loving home must provide her basic obedience training and proper amount of exercises appropriate to her energy level. If her human drops the leash/opens the door before she's contained/when getting in and out of the car, she will take off for an adventure so one has to be careful before she's well trained. She calms down quickly at home and would take naps hiding under the bed when she wants quiet time. A-May loves to put her head on your shoulder and be held in your lap with her long eyelashes batting at you. She's the sweetest and happiest dog you'll ever meet.

If you are interested in adopting A-May please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider A-May, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
