On a stormy night, a litter of five puppies was found abandoned by a river in Taiwan.  A kind hearted woman left the puppies some food for the night.  The woman went back the next day to check on the puppies and found out one was hit by a car and dead already.  She took the rest of the litter to a local pet hospital and paid for their boarding out of her pocket.  Unfortunately, two more puppies died due to poor health at boarding soon after only Dacho and her sister survived.  Because Dacho is so friendly and happy-go-lucky, our rescuer is determined to help her find a home.

Dacho loves to be with people and is very good with kids.  She is fine with other dogs although a little shy and cautious initially.  She would want to run away and hide from high energy dogs or dogs who are in her face.  But she does warm up with them on her own terms when given time.  Dacho likes to chew and should be provided with toys and chewies for her chewing needs.  She likes linens and should be kept away from it when being left alone at home.  She’s a sensitive dog and afraid of loud noise.  We are looking for a gentle, calm, active family for Dacho, who can provide daily walks and continuous socialization.  We think she’s the best being the only dog in a household.  She’s an absolutely sweetheart and we are sure she will make someone very happy.  Please fill out an application form if you think Dacho is a good fit for you.
