Rescue Story

O’Gale had a great life with her daddy before he was diagnosed with cancer. Her owner rescued her since she was a puppy from the SPCA. Unfortunately, he’s now in the hospital, undergoing surgeries and intensive treatments. He has no choice but to give up the dog due to his health conditions. CERA is on the mission to find her a new home and gives her daddy peace of mind during this critical period of his life.

Apparently, O’Gale’s dad took great care of her. She came to us in very good condition: shiny soft coat, clean teeth with little plaque, no bad breath, a dark nose, and good vitality. She’s housetrained, does her business on the grass the first thing before her walks.

She makes friends with anyone instantly and is a happy go lucky dog. Despite her age, she’s energetic. She can jump into the car and sofa without any assistance. She’s having many walks a day at her foster home and can walk continuously for more than two hours. She’s also her foster mom’s power walk buddy. At home, she’s a couch potato and loves to lie on the sofa with her belly up.

O’Gale is a great family dog with all the great characteristics of the loving Canadian Labrador Retriever except that she doesn’t beg for food. She’s currently being fostered in Vancouver and works at a Kitsilano pet shop with her foster mom during the day. O’Gale is spayed (June-06-2005), up to date with routine shots, and on Sentinel (heartworm, flea, de-worming prevention).

Vaccination:

Distemper and Kennel Cough valid until Jan-03-2015

Rabies Vaccination valid until Jan-13-2015

If you are interested in adopting O'Gale please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider O'Gale, for your new addition. There is a $100 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
