Rescue Story

Yoshi along with three other Rottweiler puppies were surrendered by a puppy mill in Taiwan.  Our volunteer dog trainer sees Yoshi as a gentle puppy who requires more socialization.  She can be a bit timid in a new environment but warms up quickly.  She is submissive towards people and likes to lick a lot.  She doesn’t appear to have food aggression towards humans when stepping on her plate.  Like most puppies, she is playful so she needs adequate amount of exercise to help her calm down.  She also needs plenty of chew toys to prevent her from chewing other household items.  She responds to collar and leash well but needs to work on her walking manner.  Yoshi is best with a patient home who doesn’t mind working through the puppy destructive behaviours, housetraining, issues, and commitment to obedience training.  Yoshi has a friendly and sweet personality and with proper training she will become a very good furry companion.

If you are interested in adopting Yoshi please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Yoshi, for your new addition. There is a $500 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
