Rescue Story

Waverly along with her two brothers came from chain pet shops that sell puppies in Taiwan.  Waverly’s father dog is a Maltese Shih Tzu Mix and mother dog is a Poodle.  The two puppy mill dogs bred accidentally and their offspring, crosses in Taiwan are considered not valuable commercially.  Luckily one of the pet shop staff stepped in to help these puppies before they got destroyed.  Waverly is a sweet dog who loves to be with people and being held close to her human’s chest.  She loves getting tummy rubs and being petted.  She’s still teething and mouthing when excited so she’s not suitable to go to a household with young children.  Because she’s a puppy and would get into mischief if not supervised, she’s looking for a patient and experienced family with someone at home most of the time.  She also needs to work on housetraining, leash manners, and basic obedience.  She’s looking for a home with a secured fence yard.  Waverly is playful with dogs and friendly towards everyone.

If you are interested in adopting Waverly please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Waverly, for your new addition. There is a $500 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
