Rescue Story

Teeny was abandoned by a puppy mill to a killing shelter in Taiwan. She has multiple visible Caesarean section scars on her abdomen like many puppy mill female dogs doomed to reproductive exploitation and endless suffering. Everything is a new experience to her so naturally she is curious and somewhat stubborn. She will follow you everywhere around the house and watch what you’re doing attentively with an odd expression somewhat similar to frowning. She likes playing with other dogs but sometimes she doesn’t get the message when other dogs tell her to back off. She does not walk on leash and she would freeze at the spot. Teeny has a sweet temperament but lacks basic obedience training. When she gets excited she would nibble the person’s hands so we are looking for a patient family with no small children to help her correct this behaviour.

If you are interested in adopting Teeny please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Teeny, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
