Rescue Story

This tiny girl spent most of her life in a small crate and had no clues about the world outside of the puppy mill.  The puppy mill debarked her for its own convenience and abandoned her on the streets when she got too old to produce any more litters.  She was found frightened and running frantically along a busy street.

 

After a month of surgery and treatment recovery, a woman kindly offered to foster Nice and socialize her.  Nice has made promising improvements and now walks well on a leash.  She's good with cats and gentle kids of older age.  She doesn't not appear to enjoy any interaction or play with other dogs.

 

Nice is looking for a calm home where she can receive gentle guidance and continuous socialization.  She will require someone who understands her needs and willing to work with her in addition to housetraining.  She would be content to be with her human on daily leashed leisurely walks.

Nice is spayed (December-08-2014), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed (March-01-2015, June-01-2015) and tested negative for heartworm.

Please consider Nice, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
