Rescue Story

One morning our rescuer went to buy breakfast and Maybelle came out of no where and jumped onto our rescuer’s bike herself and wouldn’t leave.  The rescuer asked the shop’s staff and they told the rescuer that they have seen the dog as a stray around that area for some time.  Our rescuer brought her to the vet and Maybelle didn’t have a microchip.  After having a complete medical examination and vaccinations updated, Maybelle has been placed with a foster family in the hopes that she will find a forever loving home some day.  Maybelle is an adorable and amiable companion who loves to be in the company of people and dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Maybelle please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Maybelle is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Maybelle, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
