Rescue Story

Chin’s mother was a stray in Taiwan who gave birth to a litter of five in an abandoned factory. Our rescuer found them and hoped to save them from going back to the streets.

Unlike most puppies, Chin is well behaved with no chewing issue and walks well on leash. Even though she has no separation anxiety and can stay home alone we are looking for a home where someone is not away all day long and has a secured enclosed yard for her to run in as she’s still a puppy.

She’s a bit protective of food towards dogs and would growl as a warning when they get too close. She’s not protective of food/toys from people. She can be a little shy with new people but warms up quickly with treats/food.

Chin is curious and discovering many ordinary things (like seeing a balloon for the first time) in Vancouver. She needs a patient, careful, dog experienced family who wouldn’t let her take off if she gets too nervous in a new environment. She loves to snuggle with her humans on the couch and the bed and is looking a family who not only can provide her moderate amount of daily exercise but also take her to basic obedience training.

Please consider Chin, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
