Super affectionate, cuddly, loves to snuggle and kiss people including strangers, smart, gets along with all dogs very well

Rescue Story

Amy was in a serious car accident when she was a 4-5 months old stray puppy in Taiwan. Her rescuer sent her to an animal hospital for medical surgery and Amy became a three feet puppy. The rescuer is a kind hearted lady who runs a small shelter that keeps around 30 stray dogs and feeds more homeless dogs on the streets. After recovered from the surgery, Amy came to this shelter and lived there for 4 years.

Amy is so friendly and affectionate towards people. We hope to find her a loving and patient family who is willing to help her to settle in a domestic household quite different from a shelter environment. Amy has up-to-date vaccinations including Rabies shot, de-wormed, micro-chipped, spayed, tested negative for heartworm and multiple tick born pathogens. Amy has also passed Idexx 4-in-1 Kit Plus Test.

If you are interested in adopting Amy please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Amy is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand. Please consider Amy, for your new addition. There is a $300 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
