Rescue Story

Abby was a TNR (Trap Neuter Release) stray. Our rescuer had seen her wandering on the streets for three months before finally able to capture her and take her in. She had genital warts, probably infected when she was in heat before getting spayed. Abby was in treatment right away and she had recovered completely.

She’s reserved towards strangers but is always happy to see her humans when they come home. She’s playful with other dogs and adapts to a new environment quickly. She likes to chew her harness but she’s sufficient with a collar on for walking. She likes to chew so plenty of chew toys is a must to keep her rightly occupied. She loves car rides and go for walks. Abby has a medium energy level and would require moderately amount of daily exercise.

Please note Abby is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand. Please consider Abby, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
