Rescue Story

Toffy along with 41 dogs was abandoned by a puppy mill to a killing pound in Taiwan. Toffy is calm at home, basically a couch potato. She also enjoys outdoors and loves to go for walks. She would approach strangers on her own for pets, from both women and men. She has improved tremendously from her shy personality and has become social with people. She’s housetrained but probably would have accidents in a new environment until she settles in to an established routine. She doesn’t have chewing issues and can stay home alone. She loves treats and food but more importantly praises from her humans. Toffy is looking for a gentle and patient family who applies positive reinforcement and can also provide her regular grooming maintenance.

If you are interested in adopting Toffy please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Toffy, for your new addition. There is a $200 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
