Rescue Story

Tai may look intimidating because of his size and breed but he’s really a cuddle bug once he bonds with his human.  He can be cautious with new people who are over zealous to pet him with an air snap warning or jumping backward.  He needs his space and time to warm up to people.  Tai was found abandoned up in a mountain full of strays.  He would growl at other dogs if they came too close while in possession of a chewing bone.  He gets along with dogs but is selective with whom he plays with.  Tai is looking for an active and breed experienced family who enjoys a variety of outdoor activities.

If you are interested in adopting Tai please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Tai is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Tai, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
