Rescue Story

Swe Swe was stuck in a large drainage ditch on a freeway. The slope of the ditch was almost perpendicular - no way for the two month old puppy to climb out herself. Her gums were purple when found. She kept crying for help and was luckily pulled up in time or would of died from hypothermia or drowning. Swe Swe has a medium energy level and likes to chew toys but not destructive with furniture. She loves to be with her human but can be alone by herself. She is not protective of food / toys/ space with people and dogs. Swe Swe is timid with strangers so she’s looking for an experienced family who can provide continuous socialization with people and dogs and willing to take her to training classes.

If you are interested in adopting Swe Swe please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Swe Swe is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand. Please consider Swe Swe, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
