Rescue Story

Shiao Lu is a gentle and sweet furry companion who would lay quietly by one’s feet while his human is busy at work.  Shiao Lu’s mother dog was a stray and gave birth to a litter shortly after being rescued to a shelter.  Shiao Lu isn’t protective of food, toys, space with dogs and people.  He’s looking for a relaxed household that can provide moderate neighbourhood walks and help with housetraining.

Shiao Lu is neutered (September-30-2014), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed (1st day of each month) and tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting Shiao Lu please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Shiao Lu is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Shiao Lu, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
