Rescue Story

Sasa can be wary of new people and prefers her distance until she knows the person is friendly especially those who have treats to offer her. Sasa was born in a factory where her mother dog is a guard dog not spayed. The conditions were terrible for the puppies and they have very sensitive skin similar to Shar Peis. Sasa is working on her house-training and will likely chew if not provided with appropriate toys or not enough exercise. She’s looking for an experienced owner who can take her to obedience training and continue with consistent socialization with people and dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Sasa please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Sasa is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Sasa, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
