Rescue Story

Poppy is a sweet and submissive dog with people although sometimes a little hesitant with strangers at first.  She was rescued from a killing pound.  She’s not too popular with dogs and cats residing in the same household as she plays too rough therefore she’s looking for a home as the only pet.  She’s rather moderate at dog parks except towards puppies smaller than her.  She loves to chew so durable toys and healthy treats are a must.  Poppy’s looking an experienced dog owner who can provide daily leisurely neighbourhood walks.

If you are interested in adopting Poppy please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Poppy, for your new addition. There is a $350 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
