Rescue Story

Mini was a puppy mill dog abandoned to a government kill shelter in Taiwan. After being rescued from the kill shelter, she has been in foster care in Vancouver BC. As a couch potato, she prefers a quiet home with no kids and a small enclosed backyard to continue her house training. She knows how to walk on leash but will be hesitant and nervous at first. Mini is shy when meeting new people so she needs a patient and cautious owner who will prevent her from running off. Once she bonds with you, she will come to you asking for attention. She has improved vastly since arriving in Vancouver not freezing at the spot and shaking convulsively when she’s in a new environment. She’s smiling a lot more and enjoys playing with other foster dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Mini please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Mini, for your new addition. There is a $450 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
