Affectionate, calm, submissive, medium energy level, loves belly rubs, going for walks, treats and toys, playful with dogs and cats, and good with kids.

Rescue Story

Lisha is a super sweet, cuddly and happy dog.  Lisha loves to be around people, is great with dogs, cats, and very gentle with young children.  Seeing what a happy dog she is now, it is hard to imagine what a rough life she had as a puppy.  Lisha was found with her best buddy, Pocky, living in a dumpster for a long time before being rescued.  Lisha is crate-trained at night but also relishes having a doggy bed of her own or to cuddle on your bed too.  Lisha is a healthy girl, learning everything at a good pace and all she needs now is her own forever loving home.

If you are interested in adopting Lisha please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Lisha is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Lisha, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
