Rescue Story

Huan Huan, an easy-going and well-behaved furry companion, was adopted out at two and a half years old. Her adopter through unfortunate circumstance has to give her up so she is once again looking for a forever home. As a stray in Taiwan, Huan Huan got hit by a car and lay helplessly on the road. Upon moving her body, passersby were surprised that she survived and rushed her to the animal hospital where she was diagnosed with bone fracture on her hind leg. The impact on soft tissue brought a lot of pain and Huan Huan was immobile for several days. During the uncomfortable treatment of a Calcaneal Fracture Fixation, she was brave and still friendly towards everyone just a little shy at first. She recovered fully with normal leg functioning but not recommended for intensive exercise such as jogging and running along a bike. Huan Huan has a such a gentle and submissive nature she would be a great dog for any family with a calm and quiet lifestyle.

If you are interested in adopting Huan Huan please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Huan Huan, for your new addition. There is a $250 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
