Rescue Story

Halin will get in a stranger’s car after some chin scratches and bacon and pepperoni bribes - how we picked him up from his adopters who could no longer keep him due to having a family and change of lifestyle.  He was renamed Helsing at one year old but after being returned we found out that he still responded to Halin, the name he was given when rescued from the puppy mill.  Halin is a playful goofball who loves to visit dog parks.  Although he can be at times overbearing with his exuberance he’s submissive with other dogs.  Halin is looking to join a breed experienced family who can provide proper exercise and stimulation preferably a household with another lively well balanced furry companion and lots of enclosed green space for them to run freely.

Helsing is neutered (October-23-2014), micro-chipped, and tested negative for heartworm.  His vaccinations will be updated shortly.

If you are interested in adopting Halin please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please consider Halin, for your new addition. There is a $250 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
