Rescue Story

Edison likes to be king of the castle as the only dog in his household and his face and smile easily melt away anyone’s heart.  He was found disheveled wandering in front of a shop likely abandoned by his previous human.  He can be vocal about his likes and dislikes especially hyper active dogs who are too much in his face.  He also reacts defensively to physical punishment so he needs a breed experienced patient owner who will apply only positive reinforcements.  He's not suitable for apartment or condo living and his housetraining would benefit from having a small enclosed yard.  He needs to be on either a kidney prescription diet or better yet freshly cooked meals as he loves veggies especially crunchy lettuce.  Edison would make a great furry companion to someone who enjoys having a lap-dog around.

Please note Edison is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Edison, for your new addition. There is a $250 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
