Rescue Story

Blake knows she’s cute and plays up her maximum charm when she misbehaves.  So when you tell her no for displaying an inappropriate behaviour she stares at you with those round puppy eyes then attack with endless kisses and suddenly before you even realize you are no longer in control of the situation.  She loves to annoy other dogs especially smaller breeds but gets annoyed herself with dogs who are over exuberant.  She was rescued from the kill shelter at 4-5 months of age.  If her new home with no toddlers has another furry companion, separate feeding is a must as she’s gets protective especially dogs who she perceives as weak.  Blake is looking for an experienced firm active dog owner who can take her to obedience school.  With her confidence and as a quick learner, Blake would become a well balanced furry companion under the right training.

If you are interested in adopting Blake please fill out an application. We will ask for pictures of your current pets (if any) and your house inside and outside upon receipt of your application.

Please note Blake is part of our international rescue efforts and will be flown to the Lower Mainland (YVR) Vancouver International Airport on the next transport ONLY if a permanent home can be found beforehand.  Please consider Blake, for your new addition. There is a $400 adoption fee (bank deposit and e-transfer only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please consider carefully again before this adoption.
